winter winter all the way

In winters, the skin has a lot of moisture loss, since we usually tend to drink less water. Besides making sure you’re tanked up on the fluid intake, external sources are always a boon. During winter, the outer layer of skin becomes very dry; therefore it is important to keep the skin moisturized all times. Even if one has oily skin, light moisturizing is a must after cleansing to keep the skin soft and supple.

Nothing but natural

Toning and cleansing is essential before you lather on the moisturizers. Look for natural ingredients like cocoa butter, aloe vera and almond oil when picking the body butters and creams. Cocoa butter is rich in Vitamin E and aloe has the potency to keep the moisture intact, besides anti-oxidant properties that keep it moisturized all day. Winter Cherry (Ashwagandha) has been well known since the time Ayurveda existed. To keep the lip cracks at bay, the best ingredients found in lip balms that keep them soft and supple are mango butter, kokum butter and Sal butter.
