Recently i was invited for a dandiya night at wonderland Dubai ,totally out of my mind i was searching net for the costumes to wear ,but ended up wearing a long designer frock (it was long and round enough for garba dance) anyways it was fun
i wore this long green yellow long frock from neerus hyderabad

dandiya days in Dubai are the most fun of all weather still being very hot the whole aroma of the dandiya takes over and is fun-filled with lots and lots of stalls around yummy eateries -ice golla -chat bandar will make you go gaga over the whole event
the best part of the slot is the cool dresses get to wear and men and women all ages dancing around is so much fun to see its like nothing posh posh dubai ,it looks like small india in dubai you just don;t want to go out of it .

the garba jewllery and dresses are  the main attraction for me so here are some dresses for you all to see and enjoy may be if invited you will know what to wear at this occasion ,what ever religion or cast you follow dance is only a way to have fun with friends and family.

BRANDS ON SALE IN DUBAI- TRAUMA TO SHOP

Part sale Part sale is on in the regions new mantra- where ever you see all you can find around is nothing less than 25-50 percent off these weekend was a huge money blower for me as we went around Dubai shopping for stuff which looked as if was in for free because people don't stop shopping and never get tired of it also how come

so we went to this le meridian Dubai -rivole sale cannot resist it when brands are in so much awesome range and 30 %sale was on some bank cards cannot stop abusing the card what to do

with the watches from Tissot to Rado toOmega so much on sale less than their usual mark it was a shame if someone really missed it out

round and round the ball room it was like a toy shop for adults cannot stop woowwing on that tinnu winny shining time machines so at last roaming round and round we found a very nice blue dialed watch with was different coz it has this dial which looked very different we just were about to finalise on it with a whooping amount and suddenly the sales girl said it is already looked in for
to our surprise the lady who was its consumer was behaving so childish that it was a trauma to even hold it -she was yelling like i saw it first its for my husband blah blah blah

like hello is this a scene form some movie i saw or is it a really trauma to buy in sales OMG

but in any case never though of fighting for it coz anyways i am not an  8 years old boy who wants everything blue mama so surely u can have it for urself like blue room blue walls and blue watch - whatever

and anyways we had to stick to our mood and didn;t wanted to spoil it for anything
and anyways colored dials are a pain to look into very shiny and distraction i suggest - so we ended up with a  Rado with white dial and fully automatic and that no one was fighting for at last

not very happy about the place or the services of rivoli Dubai though as they were out of boxes and cases for watches and goggles we bought brands like armani and  and  and even out of shopping bags even the falcon ball room in meridian was out of a.c hello in the heat of 42;c is that too much to ask for an a.c.

what this going on but who cares all is well that ends well  so we were happy to have our own rado after a long wait i guess .

INDIAN ADS - NOTHING NEW TO OFFER

The advertising word- agencies in Indian markets are the worst when it comes to their gimmicks they never give on things which are being run on TV several hundred times in old to new no ads have anything different to offer how some does can seduce women how some chocolates can make friends and  ads and concept like this are so childish when ever their is a mango drink ad its compulsory for some sultry siren to dance  or sing for it what the crap is the ad world  out of ideas or people have lost their imaginations from banks to eatery to everything third radio commercial will have some old movie song  to light up or some celebrity

though i  am not complying but the fact that many of the companies and products can improvise or do research and get us a better product than putting money for the marketing amuses me how they are not interested in improving the quality of the product  and more interested in putting money in such kind of amusement wonder
that may be they are only bothered about the packing rather than the actual product inside  the packet have a look of some examples and enjoy the Indian ads mimicry

Mother daughter bonding is at its strongest while they both flaunt their hair or discuss effective shampoos.

You will impress the CEOs of this world if you apply skin whitening cream. CV? What is a CV? Qualification, go away!

Thums Up is always out of stock & you have to pull off weird stunts to get your hands on it. Because who wants to just walk up to the nearby store & ask for it?

HAIR -SKIN CARE TIPS-SUMMER

* Washing hair too much: One believe that by washing hair every day you’re keeping it squeaky clean and in top condition. You’re wrong. Washing locks so frequently means you strip them of their natural oils and are actually doing more harm than good.

* Applying too much conditioner: People apply conditioner all over hair like the way they do it with shampoo. The hair at roots is new and healthier so concentrate on the tips of hair.

* Not using a heat protector: There really is no excuse for not protecting hair while using hairdryers and straighteners most days. Blasting hair with heat without shielding it in some way will leave it dry, frizzy and in poor condition.NEVER HEARD OF IT HMMMMM

* Tying your ponytail in the same place: If you always wear your hair up in a tight ponytail, then try not to tie it in exactly the same place every day. It can cause too much tension on the hair and over time can weaken it.

* Forgetting to wash make-up brushes: It’s one of those jobs you know you should do but just can’t be bothered about. If you fail to give your brushes a good clean then not only will you have mixed colors’, you are also allowing bacteria to build up. Aim to give your brushes a clean once a week.

* Neglecting neck: As part of your daily skin care routine, do you cleanse and moisturize your neck? Thought  not. Don’t stop at your chin, make sure you carry on and take care of the thin, delicate skin on your neck. This area can be prone to sensitivity so it is really important to look after it.

* Over-treating and over-covering spots: It’s too easy to apply every spot cream you have to your face as soon as you have a breakout, but don’t. They work on your skin for hours so make sure you always follow the pack instructions to the letter. Likewise, don’t cake them in make-up. Your skin needs time to breathe.

HAIR COLOR IS FASHION GONE BY

London, January 22:
A specialist clinic in UK has come up with a new technique to disguise men's baldness by tattooing tiny coloured pigments into the hair follicles of the scalp.

The thinning hair condition affects around 6.5 million men in the UK with over 40 percent of them having noticeable hair loss by the age of 35.

Previously the options on the market have been pretty pricey with celebrities such as Wayne Rooney opting for a 25,000-pound hair transplant, but now the budget tattoo means that more men can cover their bare heads - as long as they don't mind looking like a skinhead, the Daily Star reported.

Pigment dots are tattooed into the hair follicles and from a distance it gives the illusion of an even 'just shaved' look. This look is popular among celebrities such as David Beckham and Wentworth Miller.

The non-invasive procedure, which costs between 500 to 3,000 pounds, was developed by Ian Watson, who founded HIS (Hair-Ink-Skin) Hair after he developed alopecia in his mid-twenties, following the tragic death of his 32 year-old brother Paul, from cancer.

After he lost his hair he asked his wife to draw black dots onto his scalp using fine ink pen and the idea for a more permanent solution developed from there.

The treatment is a non-invasive procedure requiring no anaesthetic, incisions or adhesives, involves nothing more than mild discomfort. It leaves no scars and is

CLEVER TRICK TO FIX THE BOSS

  • Bosses love it when the worker shows accountability, as they have more to do than ensure that their employee's work is completed accurately and on time; they have their own work to do and they too have a boss, above them, who holds them accountable to their work as well as the work that the employee does, news.com, reported.

  • .
  • And when the employee delivers on, or before, deadlines and produce results, they contribute to the smooth, efficient workings of the office without drawing negative attention to themselves.

  • Secondly, any time that an employee is scheduled to participate in a meeting, whether it's as big as a conference or as small as a one-on-one with their boss, they should enter the situation armed to the teeth with as much pertinent information as they can find
  • .
  • Thirdly, efficiency is one of the most important, habits that bosses love.
  • Working late does not necessarily give the boss the impression that an individual is working hard. In fact, the common perception is that the person is working with some degree of inefficiency, it would be a lot better to come to work early if an employee needs extra time to get work done.
  • Fourthly, staying current - in news, technologies and skill sets pertinent to the industry - is one of the habits that bosses love, as it shows them that the person is motivated, intelligent, interested, and self-confident.
  • If an individual can suggest new and emerging ideas to apply to their current profession, they help keep their employer on the cutting edge and make their boss look like a genius for hiring the person.
  • Fifthly, in trying to make the boss look good, there is a big chance to be perceived as a kiss-ass - a perception, which won't help the employee at any stage in their career. Bosses don't find this behaviour appealing, because of the way it reflects on them, and for this same reason, they are not likely to reward it.

winter winter all the way

In winters, the skin has a lot of moisture loss, since we usually tend to drink less water. Besides making sure you’re tanked up on the fluid intake, external sources are always a boon. During winter, the outer layer of skin becomes very dry; therefore it is important to keep the skin moisturized all times. Even if one has oily skin, light moisturizing is a must after cleansing to keep the skin soft and supple.

Nothing but natural

Toning and cleansing is essential before you lather on the moisturizers. Look for natural ingredients like cocoa butter, aloe vera and almond oil when picking the body butters and creams. Cocoa butter is rich in Vitamin E and aloe has the potency to keep the moisture intact, besides anti-oxidant properties that keep it moisturized all day. Winter Cherry (Ashwagandha) has been well known since the time Ayurveda existed. To keep the lip cracks at bay, the best ingredients found in lip balms that keep them soft and supple are mango butter, kokum butter and Sal butter.

waxing - home made easy way out

Making your wax at home is an easy and cost effective alternative to the kits you buy from the store.

We all agree that waxing is safer than those sharp razors and the hair removing creams we torture our skin with. Yet often we hold up the laborious process because we don't have the time to go to the parlour. But then again, is waxing in parlours completely safe? Burning, itching, lumpy skin, are only a few side effects hot wax can cause. What if we tell you there is a completely organic and homemade solution to all these nerve wrecking problems?

Here's how you can make aromatic wax at home from scratch:

Ingredients: 200 gm granulated sugar, 150-200 gm honey, 1 lemon cut in half, 10 drops of essential oil

Method: Add 200 gm of granulated sugar in a saucepan and let it melt in a medium flame. Stir well with a wooden spoon to prevent the sugar from burning. Allow the sugar to boil for a full two minutes. You will know the sugar is ready once it attains a golden colour. Add 10 drops of your favourite aromatic essential oil into the sugar mixture. This gives it a fragrant appeal. Now add 150-200 gm of honey to the sauce pan and stir well on medium heat. Squeeze the juice of half a lemon into the mixture while you stir. Sieve the mixture through a clean cotton towel and allow it to rest for two minutes. Knead the mass until its golden yellow and then store in an air tight container.

wWINTER AND SKIN CARE TIPS

Winter months generally are colder and drier than summer months when heat and humidity levels are on the rise. When skin is exposed to the harsh winter weather, it takes a beating, becoming excessively dry, irritated and chapped. Clothing protects most skin but we often fail to protect our faces. Moving indoors isn't any better.

Apply sunscreen regularly because you're just as likely to sunburn in the winter as you are in summer. Apply a sunscreen, moisturizer or make-up with a minimum SPF of 15. Be sure to protect lips by wearing lipstick or lip balm with sun protection. Stop licking lips!

Reduce the number of times you apply toner after cleansing and use toners with no or low alcohol levels. Gently exfoliate using a washcloth or scrub to remove dead skin cells and stimulate skin.

Often people travel to a different city or country for occasions like weddings. If the event is being held in a place where the sunlight is harsher, you may experience more intense UV exposure and that exposure will be amplified by reflective surfaces like mirrors, car windscreens, etc. Opt for a broad spectrum sunscreen as it needs to be applied and reapplied from morning until evening.

Wear a wide brim hat to protect your face, head and neck. An umbrella is also a good idea as it will create instant shade and keep the temperatures feeling up to 10 degrees cooler.

Get a pair of UV protective sunglasses to protect the eyes from glare and the delicate eyelid skin around the eyes. Broad temple arms will also help keep the sun's rays damaging the crow's feet area of the eyes.

So when you escape the cold, be sun smart and safe. Make a plan to keep skin protected from UV radiation and it will be possible to enjoy the sun and return from functions with fond memories and not sun damaged skin.
